< Identification of the genes which promote a initial induction of organ germ >

For realization of the transplantation therapy by using bioengineered organs, the methods which prepare the multipotent stem cells from patients available for the reconstitution of the bioengineered organs is need to be developed. For this purpose, we have analyzed the genes which promote the initial induction of tooth germs which is a useful experimental model for investigating mammalian organogenesis. The genes regulate initial induction of organ germ would be valuable for the development of genetically modified multipotent stem cells. We wish that this study would contribute to both understanding of organ developmental biology and basic technologies for the organ replacement regeneration therapy.
