< Development of bone regeneration therapy using immature osteoblast >

As we have approached an aging society, bone disease is considerably increasing among elderly. Since bone disease of elderly is hard to heal, it is a main factor which causing loss of physical performance such as bedridden. To develop bone regeneration therapy, we have established immature human osteoblast culture system which is available from bone tissue of elderly and possesses bone regeneration ability. We will develop these cells as a therapeutic agent for repairing bone disease in this age group.
