The importance of PI3-kinase cascade in the study of ATLL

Previous study of ATLL had shown the effects of HTLV-I infection on the host cellular signaling pathway and the mechanisms of tumorigenesis after the long incubation.

We indicated the possibility that PI3-kinase cascade was essential in the period of infection and pathogenesis of ATLL. In the future, we expect to find the therapeutic target of ATLL through the progress of the study for down-stream effectors of PI3-kinase cascade.
